Precious Metal Futures-- Precious metal futures are lower across the board in the night session tonight with gold leading the charge down by 7 dollars an ounce while silver futures are lower by 37 cents reversing most of yesterday’s gains trading at 27.60 an ounce.
Precious Metal Futures---The precious metals futures this morning are quiet with anticipation of tomorrow's monthly unemployment report 7:30 AM central time, however the ADP report came out today and stated that the private sector added 133, 000 new jobs in the prior month but the market reacted very quietly to the news with gold futures for the June contract up one dollar at 1,565 an ounce while silver futures for the July contract curren
Grain Futures--- The grain futures opened higher tonight on the night session with soybeans up 3 cents currently trading at 12.73 a bushel in the November contract while corn futures are unchanged in the December contract at 5.21. Wheat futures for the July contract are up 3 cents currently trading at 6.45 and what is going to be incredibly volatile trading session tomorrow and the rest of the summer in my opinion.

Currency Futures--- The currency futures were relatively quiet today awaiting tomorrow's big monthly unemployment report which comes out at 7:30 AM central time which will give short term direction to many commodities and currencies especially the Euro currency which finished down another 10 points today continuing its slide hitting a new 22 month low closing around 1.2361 in a volatile trading session.
Grain Market--- The grain market was weaker across the board once again continuing their bearish momentum especially in soybeans finishing down nearly 32 cents in the July contract to close at 13.41 a bushel marking a 10 week low in price while July soybean meal was absolutely crushed down 1500 points to close at 395 a ton also continuing its bearish momentum.
Bond Futures--- The bond futures rallied once again today to all-time highs in the futures contract with the June trading as high as 151 – 11 before selling off later in the day to finish up 20 /32 to close right around 150 – 11 blamed on profit-taking when the stock market reversed earlier losses and went positive.
Cotton Futures--- Cotton futures traded in a very quiet range today finishing basically unchanged to close around 70.32 in the December contract which is considered the new crop which will be harvested this fall rallying from early session lows of 69.50 waiting for tomorrow's unemployment report for further price direction.
Coffee Futures-- Coffee futures in New York today stumbled to a new contract low once again finishing lower by nearly 400 points to close at 160.55 a pound continuing its strong trend to the downside with the next major support down the low 150s like I've been stating in many previous blogs that's where I think coffee prices are headed and I think there is even a possibility that coffee prices could head down into the 130s in the next cou
Energy Futures---The energy markets this morning the New York are very quiet today basically unchanged across the board with July crude oil down 20 cents currently trading at 87.70 a barrel while heating oil and unleaded gasoline for the July contract are basically unchanged in a very quiet trade anticipating tomorrow's monthly unemployment number which comes out at 7:30 AM central time which will surely have a direct impact on ener
