Sugar Prices Higher

 Sugar Futures-- Sugar futures for the May delivery today shot up 31 points to close at 24.44 with the next resistance at about $.25.87 a pound which happened about two weeks ago bucking the trend today with most commodities lower but sugar was strong all day.

Cotton Prices Testing Recent Lows

 Cotton Futures-- Cotton futures for May delivery were down again today settling at 87.14 a bale finishing lower by another 90 points closing at a 10 week low with the next resistance at 84.23 which happened on December 14th  of last year reversing last week's gain on the fact that India had stopped exporting cotton but only a couple of days later were pressured by Chinese and Indian farmers to not pursue that policy so prices

Gold & Silver Plummet In Price Today

 Precious Metals-- The precious metals sector was absolutely clobbered today with silver leading the way down plunging more than a $1.50 to close around $32.15 an ounce and breaking support at $33 dollars and now looking at the next level of support around $30 dollars an ounce while gold futures plummeted down $52 dollars for the April contract to close at 1,642.8 an ounce and making an 8 week low with the next support in gold futures

 Energy Futures-- Crude oil futures for the April delivery today finished down $1.00 to close approximately at 105.68 a barrel with the API inventory report coming out showing no real surprises and outside pressure with the precious metals sharply lower today made crude oil sell off in sympathy.
