When Should You Enter Into A Trade ?

in Blog, Bonds, commodities, currencies, futures trading, Mike Seery

When Should You Enter Into A Trade ? I have been asked this question many times throughout my career and my opinion is simply to buy on a 20-25 day high breakout in price on a closing basis only or sell on a 20-25 day low breakout to the downside also on a closing basis. Many times the price will break the 25 day high and sell off later in the day only to have your trade be negative very quickly.

Will The Mexican Peso Crack The 50 Level ?

in Blog, Bonds, commodities, currencies, futures trading, Mike Seery

Mexican Peso Futures---The Mexican Peso in the December contract is starting out the week unchanged at 5212 in a very quiet nonvolatile trading session as I have been recommending a bearish trade from around the 5421 level and then recommending to add another futures contract around 5240 & if you took the trade the stop loss now has been lowered significantly to 5293 as the chart structure is excellent at the present time so remain short.

Gold Futures---Gold futures in the December contract settled last Friday in New York at 1,304 an ounce while currently trading at 1,285 down about $20 for the week continuing its flip-flop trend as I am advising clients to avoid this commodity at the present time as it remains extremely choppy and I think that will continue for the rest of 2017.
