 Cotton Futures—Cotton and grain traders are looking ahead to the May 10th crop reports which will give these markets short term price direction while cotton futures had one of their quietest trading sessions in recent memory today, however with the summer month’s right ahead I see intense volatility coming very soon with big movement in prices as well.

Orange Juice Plunges To Fresh 2 Year Lows Again !

Orange Juice Futures-- Orange juice futures today finished 200 points lower once again however it did rally sharply from session lows which hit 124.80 early in the trading session. This week traded as high as 148.00 on Monday morning only to continue a tremendous bear market down to 124.80 finishing down nearly 2000 points this week which is a gain or loss of 3,000 dollars per contract depending if you were short or long the market.

Orange Juice Futures-- Orange juice futures this week traded as high as 148.00 on Monday morning only to continue a tremendous bear market down to 130.30 finishing lower by 250 points once again this afternoon in New York creating a fresh two year low with the next support all the way down the 120 – to 125 which could happen in the next couple of days.

Milk Prices Plunge Today !

Milk Futures--- Milk futures this morning reversed much of yesterday's sharp short covering rally to close down around 30 points in the June contract settling right at 14.54 continuing its bearish momentum and in my opinion I still believe lower prices are here to come.

Lumber Prices Await Job Data On Friday

Lumber Futures--Lumber futures in Chicago traded in a very narrow range finishing down 1.40 per board feet to settle right around 283.00 in a lack lustre trade today. Lumber prices are looking ahead to Friday's monthly unemployment report for furthur price direction in the short term, if it is a bullish job number you could see lumber break thru contract highs of 296.50.

 Sugar Futures-- Sugar futures for the July contract this week have plummeted hitting a 1 year low today finishing down another 42 points to close at 20.53 a pound and had traded as high as 21.21 on Monday morning but prices continue to grind lower and it was one year ago today in early 2011 when sugar prices hit a low of 20.40 and if we break that level you are looking to go down into 18 – 19 range in sugar prices pretty quickly in my op

Cotton Futures—Cotton futures started the week in the December contract at 87.90 a bale and has traded as low as 85.40 a bale in a pretty lack luster trading week basically grinding lower in price almost on a daily basis.

Cocoa Futures-- Cocoa futures this morning bucked the trend closing higher by nearly 12 points to close at 2332 with an incredibly crazy trading week with Monday and Tuesday’s trading session having 150 point ranges due to unrest in the Ivory Coast growing regions. Cocoa started the week at 2309 and traded as low as 2144 before rallying sharply off those lows on 2 separate days to close right near the higher end of the recent trading range 2340.
