Coffee Prices Lower By 180 Points Today; Stuck In 4 Week Consolidation

Coffee Futures--- Coffee futures this morning in New York are slightly lower currently trading at 177.40 a pound down 175 points for the trading session and selling off more than 400 points from session highs. Coffee remains in a very tight channel between 175 – 181 a pound range for the last four weeks looking for some new fundamental news to break out of this tight channel.

Cotton Prices Re-Testing Lows

 Cotton Futures--- Cotton futures this morning have reversed earlier gains when cotton was higher by as much as 100 points in early trade, however have reversed course and are now down 60 points currently trading at 74.60 a bale still within striking distance of contract lows which was hit in last Thursday's trade.

 Orange Juice Futures--- Orange juice futures this morning are sharply higher after Friday's collapse once again however today we are up 560 points currently is trading at 107.80 the July contract blamed on profit-taking and bargain hunters down at these relatively low levels in the last several years also due to the fact of extreme and I do mean extreme oversold conditions.

 Precious Metal Futures--- The precious metals this morning are slightly lower after having an explosive rally late last week, however some early-morning profit-taking is hitting this sector with gold down around $4 dollars an ounce currently trading at 1, 587 near session lows while silver prices are down by 50 cents currently trading in the July contract at 28.18 an ounce reversing some of Thursday and Friday's sharp gains.

 Orange Juice Futures--- Orange juice futures this afternoon closed down around 300 points to103.00 a new fresh 2 year low in price also breaking sharply lower earlier in the morning and traded as low as 97.10 before rallying on the closing bell. The next level support is all the way down to the 2009 lows of around 70 which is still over 33 points away at the current levels but at this rate of decline who knows it could get there soon.
