Where Are Meat Prices Headed?

 Meat Futures--- The meat futures today rallied with feeder cattle leading the charge higher up 90 points at 154.00 a pound while live cattle also climbed 30 points to close at 125.22 a pound in very light trading in Chicago today. Lean hogs rallied 70 points in the June contract to close at 92.90 a pound after hitting contract lows yesterday and selling off more than 900 points from the highs of 4 weeks ago.

Feeder Cattle & Cattle Higher; Hogs Make Contract Lows

 Meat Futures--- The meat futures today ended slightly higher with feeder cattle leading the charge finishing up 80 points to close at 153.275 a pound with live cattle also finishing higher only by 40 points to close around 125 a pound in a very light trading session.

Cattle & Hogs Prices Hit 3 Month Lows

Meat Futures--- Live cattle for the April delivery today traded slightly lower finishing down only 15 points to close at 125.15 a pound and flirting with the 12 week low which happened on January 9th at 124.15 and if cattle prices break that level your possibly looking to go down to the contract low of 121.10 a pound.

Feeder Cattle & Cattle Higher Today

The meat futures today in Chicago were higher across the board with feeder cattle futures climbing 110 points while live cattle futures climbed 87 points to close around 126.45 a pound in the April contract. Lean hogs had a quiet session ending up seven points to close around 87.42 in light trade in Chicago.
