Soybeans Higher; Corn & Wheat Lower Again

Grain Futures--- The grain market and up mixed this afternoon in Chicago with soybeans for the May contract finishing up only 6 cents to close at 14.26 a bushel settling way off early session highs while corn futures continue their bearish trends finishing down another 6 cents in the July contract to close around 6.07 a bushel.

Precious Metals Higher Across The Board

Precious Metal Futures--- The precious metals this afternoon in New York were slightly higher across the board but finishing off of the highs of the trading session in gold for the June contract up only 2 dollars to settle at $1, 651 while silver futures finished higher by $.30 cents to close at $31.68 and in my opinion I am surprised that silver futures and copper futures were not sharply higher this afternoon with a broad rally in the commodit

Cotton Higher By 80 Points Today

 Cotton Futures--- Cotton futures this morning are mixed with the May contract up 80 points trading at 88.87 a bale after yesterday's 400 point limit down collapse in price blamed on soft demand from China, however the December contract is unchanged for the day which is considered the new crop which will be harvested this fall is currently trading at 86.36 in a very quiet trade in New York today.

Cocoa Prices Higher Again Today

 Cocoa Futures-- Cocoa futures rallied in the May contract trading up 26 points today in sympathy with the rest of the commodity sectors which surged on the weak dollar versus the foreign currencies plus huge gains in the stock market.

Orange Juice Futures--- Orange juice futures this morning are trading sharply higher by 500 points in the May delivery currently trading at 151.30 in what traders believe is probably just a dead cat bounce or a knee-jerk reaction after prices have just been crushed in the last couple of weeks.

Precious Metal Futures--- The precious metals this morning are higher across the board with silver leading the charge higher up $.36 currently trading at 31.73 an ounce in the May contract while gold futures for the June contract are up six dollars trading at 1, 655 in ounce with a generally bullish commodity market this morning.

How Low Are Cattle & Hog Prices Going?

Meat Futures-----Live cattle futures for the June contract finished basically unchanged for the trading session to close at 116.10 a pound looking to retest last Wednesdays contract low of 114.10 a pound while feeder cattle prices rallied 70 points in the May contract close around 152.22 and is about 600 points from contract lows which happened last week.
