Cocoa Futures---Cocoa futures in the December contract are trading lower for the 2nd consecutive session down 11 points at 2127 after hitting a 6 month high last Friday as profit-taking is blamed for today's slight losses.

Stocks Higher 7th Day In A Row

S&P 500 Futures---The S&P 500 in the December contract is now trading higher for the 7th consecutive session up another 3 points at 2577 as major earnings are coming out today & over the next couple of weeks as I think that will push prices above 2600 as the bullish momentum continues.

Gold Futures---Gold futures in the December contract settled last Friday in New York at 1,304 an ounce while currently trading at 1,285 down about $20 for the week continuing its flip-flop trend as I am advising clients to avoid this commodity at the present time as it remains extremely choppy and I think that will continue for the rest of 2017.

S&P 500 Futures---The S&P 500 in the December contract is currently trading at 2569 after settling last Friday in Chicago at 2552 up another 17 points hitting another all-time high in today's trade continuing its remarkable bullish run to the upside as I am extremely bullish the entire equity sector as I think we will continue to move higher for the rest of 2017.

How Can You Use Moving Averages To Your Advantage? A simple moving average is calculated by adding the closing price of a commodity such as crude oil for a number of time periods and then dividing this total by the number of time periods.

Short-term averages respond quickly to changes in the price of the underlying commodity, while long-term averages are slower to react.

Chart Structure In The S&P 500 Is Improving

S&P 500 Futures---The S&P 500 in the December contract is down 1 point at 2552 in a very quiet nonvolatile trading manner this Thursday afternoon in Chicago after hitting all-time highs in yesterdays session and if you're long a futures contract the 10 day low has been raised to 2517 as it will start to improve every single day next week therefore lowering the monetary risk as the chart structure will become outstanding.
