Sugar Futures-- Sugar futures continued their bearish momentum in the July contract finishing down another 17 points to settle down to 21.04 which is a new closing contract low due to the lack of demand and excess supply coming onto the market.

Orange Juice Futures Higher Today

in Blog, coffee futures, commodity broker, commodity trading, cotton futures, futures broker, futures trading, lumber futures, Michael Seery, milk futures, option broker, orange juice futures, Seery Futures LLC, soft commodities, sugar futures

Orange Juice Futures-- Orange juice futures for the May contract rallied for the 2nd consecutive trading session finishing up almost 400 points to close around 152 and it looks to me that the short term bottom in orange juice may have occurred because of the fact that prices had declined so quickly that any type of kickback will be significant in the short term.

Cocoa Prices Higher By 60 Points Today

in Blog, coffee futures, commodity broker, commodity trading, cotton futures, futures broker, futures trading, lumber futures, Michael Seery, milk futures, option broker, orange juice futures, Seery Futures LLC, soft commodities, sugar futures

Cocoa Futures-- Cocoa futures rallied sharply today in the May contract closing up nearly 60 points to settle around 2315 right near the weekly highs which were very impressive this week rallying about 300 points which in my opinion is significant due to the fact that this was a bear market before this week and a possible triple bottom has been formed in Cocoa prices.

Coffee Prices Higher By 350 Points Today

in Blog, coffee futures, commodity broker, commodity trading, cotton futures, futures broker, futures trading, lumber futures, Michael Seery, milk futures, option broker, orange juice futures, Seery Futures LLC, soft commodities, sugar futures

Coffee Futures--- Coffee futures today in the July contract rose almost 350 points to close at 179 a pound climbing off of recent contract lows and might be forming a short term bottom at this point, however the trend in coffee has been sharply lower for several months so I'm not going to put too much emphasis on a one-day rally when most the commodity sectors and stock markets around the world were all higher today.
