Coffee Futures--- Coffee futures in the March contract settled last Friday at 145.80 a pound while currently trading at 141.50 down about 400 points as excellent growing conditions in the country of Brazil continue to push prices to levels that we have not seen since mid August.

Sugar Now Has Excellent Chart Structure

in Blog, Cocoa futures, coffee futures, commodity trading, cotton futures, Mike Seery, orange juice futures, seeryfutures, sugar futures

Sugar Futures---Sugar futures in the March contract finished down 18 points this afternoon in New York currently settling at 19.45 a pound in a real lackluster trade is I'm still looking for prices to breakdown under the contract low of 18.80 as I still think there is more room to run to the downside.

Weather Concerns Push Wheat Prices Higher

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Wheat Futures--- The weather in the Great Plains of the United States has turned extremely cold after record warm temperatures in recent months which is now giving support to the upside as wheat is up 7 cents this Thursday afternoon in Chicago at 4.08 a bushel as I'm sitting on the sidelines waiting for another breakout to occur ,but it certainly looks to me that the possibility of wheat finally bottoming might be at hand.

Soybean Prices Down Sharply Remain Choppy

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Soybean Futures--- Soybean futures in the January contract are down $0.23 this Thursday afternoon in Chicago at 10.26 a bushel as I've been sitting on the sidelines in this market for quite some time as I keep telling investors to avoid the grain market at the present time as there is absolutely no trend with extreme choppiness which is very difficult to trade successfully in my opinion so move on and look at other markets.

I Think Stocks Are Going Higher !

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, dow jones futures, futures trading, NASDAQ 100 futures, S&P 500, seeryfutures

S&P 500 Futures--- The S&P 500 is trading higher for the 3rd consecutive trading session up another 8 points at 2218 as I've been recommending a bullish position from around 2194 in the December contract and if you took that trade continue to place your stop loss at the 10 day low of 2179 on a closing basis only , as the chart structure will not improve therefore the monetary risk will not be lowered until another 8 trading sessions.

Volatility Enters The Corn Market

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Corn Futures--- Corn futures in the March contract are down 3 cents this Wednesday afternoon in Chicago breaking its winning streak of 3 trading sessions to the upside as corn prices have rallied about $0.18 just from last Thursday's low, but this market remains extremely choppy so avoid it in my opinion, but its good to see volatility come back into play.

Are Gold Prices Going Lower ?

in Blog, commodity trading, copper futures, futures trading, gold futures, Mike Seery, palladium futures, platinum futures, seeryfutures, silver futures

Gold Futures--- Gold futures in the February contract are up $10 this Wednesday afternoon an ounce currently trading at 1,180 after hitting a fresh 10 month low on December 5th at 1,158 ,however the trend still remains bearish as I think this is just a kickback from oversold conditions.

Silver Prices Up 5 Cents In Early Trade

in Blog, commodity trading, copper futures, futures trading, gold futures, Mike Seery, palladium futures, platinum futures, seeryfutures, silver futures

Silver Futures--- Silver futures in the March contract are trading higher by 5 cents this Wednesday in New York currently trading at 16.85 an ounce stuck in 3 week consolidation as I'm keeping a close eye on this market as a possible breakout to the upside could be occurring, but I need a four-week high before entering so be patient as that's the name of the game at the current time.

Stay Long The Stock Market

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, dow jones futures, futures trading, NASDAQ 100 futures, S&P 500, seeryfutures

S&P 500 Futures--The S&P 500 in the December contract is up 5 points at 2209 as I've been recommending a bullish position from around the 2194 level & if you took that trade continue to place your stop loss under the 10 day low which remains at 2179 and also will persist for the next 9 trading sessions so your going to have to accept the monetary risk at this time.

Sugar Prices Sharply Higher !

in Blog, Cocoa futures, coffee futures, commodity trading, cotton futures, Mike Seery, orange juice futures, seeryfutures, sugar futures

Sugar Futures--- Sugar prices in the March contract were sharply higher Tuesday afternoon in New York up 57 points at 19.51 a pound rebounding off of oversold conditions that have been persisting for quite some time, but I'm still recommending to stay short this market while placing the proper stop loss above the 10 day high which stands at 20.32 as that will not be lowered for another 5 trading sessions.
