Wheat Prices Hit A 2 Week Low

Wheat Futures--- Wheat futures in the December contract finished lower for the 2nd consecutive trading session as I was recommending a bullish position from around the 4.16 level getting stopped out in today's trade around 4.03 as prices have hit a 2 week low as its time to move on and look at other markets that are beginning to trend.

Have Oat Prices Topped Out ?

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the December contract finished lower for the 2nd consecutive trading session down 3 cents currently trading at 2.22 a bushel as I've been recommending a bullish position over the last month from around the 1.82 level and if you took that trade continue to place your stop loss below the 10 day low which now stands at 2.17 which is an just an eyelash away from getting stopped out as the grain market plummeted off of the USDA

Soybeans Sharply Lower Off USDA Crop Report

Soybean Futures--- Soybean futures had a wild trading day in Chicago this Wednesday afternoon reacting negatively to the USDA crop report which estimated 52.5 bushels per acre which is another record coupled with another record crop being produced around 4.361 billion bushels ballooning carryover levels to 480 million bushels sending prices sharply lower finishing down $0.20 at 9.91 a bushel.

Soymeal Up 300 In Early Trade

Soymeal Futures--- Soybean meal futures in the December contract are up 300 points currently trading at 312 a ton as I have been recommending a bullish position from around the 316 level and if you took that trade continue to place your stop loss at the 10 day low which remains at 3O4 as the chart structure will not improve for another 9 days so you're going to have to accept the monetary risk at this point in time.

Oat Prices Continue Bullish Momentum

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the December contract settled last Friday in Chicago at 2.23 a bushel while currently trading at 2.28 up about 5 cents for the trading week as I have been recommending a bullish position from around the 1.82 level and if you took that trade continued to place your stop loss under the 10 day low which now has been moved up to 2.10 as the chart structure is outstanding at the present time.

Grains Sharply Lower

The grain market sold off sharply today with May wheat down $.19 cents to finish at 6.38 a bushel in heavy volume while corn futures for the May delivery ended down $.15 cents to close around 6.39 a bushel pressuring the soybean market to finish down eight cents in the May contract closing around 13.27 a bushel today.

How High Can Soybeans Prices Go?

 Soybean futures continue to grind higher climbing 9 cents to close around 12.67 in the March contract. Soybean oil hit fresh 4 months highs today climbing to 53.45 up about 40 points for the day. Soybean oil is used as a biodiesel and with unleaded gasoline and crude oil making new highs it could push soybean oil to new highs as well.
