Oat Prices Hit A 3 Week Low

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the March contract traded lower for 5 straight trading sessions before this Monday which is higher by about 3 cents currently trading at 2.20 a bushel as I was recommending a bullish position over the last several months getting stopped out in Friday's trade around the 2.18 level as prices topped out right above the 2.40 area.

Are Soybean Oil Prices Going Lower ?

Soybean Oil Futures--- Soybean oil futures in the January contract are down 10 points currently at 34.83 this Tuesday afternoon in Chicago as I'm currently recommending a short position from around the 34.20 level as the 10 day high remains at 35.95 as the chart structure will not improve until early next week.

Sugar Prices Break Major Support

Sugar Futures--- Sugar futures in the March contract are trading lower by 41 points this Tuesday afternoon in New York breaking the critical 20.00 level currently trading at 19.95 as prices we have not seen since early August as a real meltdown is occurring right before our eyes in my opinion.

Where Are Wheat Prices Going ?

Wheat Futures--- Wheat futures in the March contract is currently up 1 cent at 4.28 a bushel still stuck in a consolidation since the month of August as the true breakout to the upside will be around 4.45 as I'm currently sitting on the sidelines waiting for a trend to develop which could happen relatively soon in my opinion.

Have Oat Prices Topped Out ?

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the March contract are trading lower for the 2nd consecutive trading session down to 2.36 a bushel as I was recommending a bullish position in the December contract from around the 1.82 level rolling over into the March contract while placing my stop loss at the 10 day low which stands at 2.21 and will not improve for another 3 trading sessions.

Soybean Oil Higher 2nd Day In A Row

Soybean Oil Futures--- Soybean oil futures in the January contract are trading higher for the 2nd consecutive session up 66 points currently trading at 34.98 as I've been recommending a bearish position from around the 34.20 level and if you took the trade continue to place your stop loss above the 10 day high which stands at 35.95 as the stop will not be lowered until Friday's trade so your going to have to accept the monetary risk at this time.<

Corn Prices Stuck In The Mud

Corn Futures---Corn futures in the March contract is currently trading at 3.53 a bushel up about 4 cents for the week still trading in a very non-volatile manner as prices really have gone nowhere over the last 4 months as I've talked about in previous blogs as I think it's difficult to make money in this commodity at the present time due to the fact of low volatility & range bound throughout the rest of 2016 in my opinion.

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the December contract are trading higher for the 5th consecutive trading session up another 4 cents currently at 2.37 a bushel as I've been recommending a bullish position since early October and if you took the trade the 10 day low has now been moved to 2.20 as the chart structure will not improve for another 5 days, however we are going to have to roll into the March contract in the next couple of days so stay posted.
