Soybeans Lower On Profit Taking

in Blog, corn, oats, rough rice, soybeans, wheat

Soybean futures for May delivery are slightly lower at 12.72 a bushel down 5 cents while corn, wheat, and oats are all basically unchanged for the day in light trading. Rough Rice is higher by 10 cents in quiet trade in Chicago. I think soybeans are still in abull market and will continue to climb going into spring planting which starts in April in the southern United States.

How High Can Soybean Prices Climb?

in Blog, corn, oats, rough rice, soybeans, wheat

Soybean futures continue to show strength rallying just 4 cents to close around 12.79 a bushel while corn and wheat continue to look very weak going in opposite directions from the soybean complex. Wheat futures were sharply lower all day today finishing lower by more than 13 cents to close around 6.30 a bushel continuing its bearish momentum.

How High Can Soybeans Prices Go?

in Blog, corn, oats, rough rice, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Soybean futures continue to grind higher climbing 9 cents to close around 12.67 in the March contract. Soybean oil hit fresh 4 months highs today climbing to 53.45 up about 40 points for the day. Soybean oil is used as a biodiesel and with unleaded gasoline and crude oil making new highs it could push soybean oil to new highs as well.

Soybeans Rally To 4 Month Highs

in Blog, corn, soybeans, wheat

Soybeans are making fresh 4 months high again today trading higher by 13 cents and currently trading at 12.70 a bushel for the March contract. Soybeans and soymeal keep grinding higher with great chart structure and no outstanding gaps to be filled . I think soybeans are going to test $14 dollars a bushel by spring due to high demand from emerging markets plus a bullish trend over the last 5 years.

Grains Mixed In Quiet Trade

in Blog, corn, oats, rough rice, soybeans, wheat

A quiet day in the grain pits in Chicago as there is no new fundamental news to move the market in any direction. Corn prices rallied slightly after a solid sell off in the last week or so to finish up 9 cents at 6.37 a bushel in a lack luster trade. Wheat continues its bearish momentum finishing up only 2 centsto close around 6.29 and might re test recent lows at 5.90 a bushel. Soybeans rallied from early of lows to finish around unchanged going into Fridays trade.

Soybeans Rally To 4 Month Highs

in Blog, corn, oats, soybeans, wheat

Soybean futures for March delivery are making new 4 months once again on the night session adding another 6 cents at 12.61 a bushel. The corn and wheat are up 3 cents each while the oats are higher by 2 cents. I still think that the soybeans will test 13.00 a bushel and possibly head back to $14.00 a bushel by spring.

Grains Quiet On Night Session

in Blog, corn, soybeans, wheat

The grain market is quiet tonight with corn, wheat, and soybeans all about unchanged for the trading session. The soybeans earlier today reached 4 month highs and is looking at $13.00 as its next possible target in price. The wheat breakout is 6.83 and corn is around 6.60 a bushel to re start the bullish trend in both of those grains. The soymeal was the real strength again today and is the leader in the soy complex.

Soybeans Rally To 4 Month Highs

in Blog, corn, oats, rough rice, soybeans, wheat

Soybeans for March delivery soared 24 cents higher today closing around 12.53 a bushel and closing at 4 month highs. The soybeans have been a very choppy market in the last 2 months and if you held on to your long position it is starting to pay you off.
