Gold & Silver Lower; Copper At 3 Week Lows
Gold futures for April delivery sold off from earlier gains to finish lower by %5 dollars to close around 1,722 an ounce. Gold has been choppy for the last couple of weeks trying to consolidate the large up move in the prior month. Silver futures also reversed in price settling lower by 20 cents to close around 33.20 an ounce and closing near the low end its recent trading range. Copper futures were lower by 800 points closing at a 3 week low of 371.55 also retracing the large rally in prices over the last month or so. The metals look weak and might head lower in the near term, how ever I still remain positive on the precious metal sector longer term. Platinum futures were $10 dollars higher finishing at 1,636 bucking the trend today.
