Mixed Trading Day For Metals
Gold futures finished near unchanged in a volatile trade today finishing near 1,726 an ounce. Gold traded negative and positive during the trading session only to finish unchanged. Silver futures for March delivery were higher by only 10 cents to close around 33.70 an ounce. Copper futures were lower by 200 points to close around 384.50 in a quiet trade today. Platinum futures were also very quiet finishing down by 7 dollars to close at 1,652 an ounce. I still believe that precious metal prices will continue to climb towards last summer highs , however it will be a volatile for a long time to come.
