Keep A Close Eye On Coffee

Coffee Futures---Coffee futures in the March contract is trading slightly higher for the 3rd consecutive session up 30 points at 123.60 a pound as I'm currently sitting on the sidelines, but I will be recommending a bullish position if prices break the 5 week high of 125.85 while placing the stop loss under the 2 week low standing at 119.10 as the risk would be about $2,600 per contract plus slippage & commission.

Will The 10 Year Note Break 3% ?

10 Year Note Futures---The 10 year note in the March contract finished down 18 points to close around 120/29 experiencing high volatility over the last 3 trading sessions as the stock market finished higher for the 2nd consecutive session as the 10 year note is now yielding 2.85% which is what started this free-for-all in the 1st place as we are back to the same levels that caused the problem.

Wild Trading Session In Cocoa

Cocoa Futures---Cocoa futures in the March contract experienced a volatile trading session with a 77 point trading range opening higher only to finish lower for the session closing down 28 points at 2013 having a disappointing close in my opinion.

What Is A Triple Bottom Chart Pattern ? A pattern used in technical analysis to predict the reversal of a prolonged downtrend. The pattern is identified when the price of commoditiy creates 3 sell offs at nearly the same price level.

Wheat Higher On Drought Concerns

Wheat Futures--- Wheat futures in the March contract is trading higher for the 2nd consecutive session up $0.13 at 4.58 a bushel reacting positively to major concerns about the crop quality in the southern Great Plains of the United States pushing prices to levels that we haven't seen since late October.

Oats Following Wheat Higher

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the March contract is trading higher for the 2nd consecutive session up 4 cents at 2.73 following the wheat market which is up $0.15 breaking out to the upside as I am also recommending a bullish position in wheat & corn as traders are awaiting the highly anticipated USDA crop report which will be released tomorrow afternoon.

Cotton Futures--- Cotton futures in the May contract is trading lower for the 3rd consecutive session right near a 6 week low dropping about 700 points from last months high as weak demand has come back into this market due to relatively high prices as I'm currently sitting on the sidelines waiting for another trend to develop.

Wheat Futures--- Wheat futures in the March contract is up 1 cent breaking a 4 day losing streak however it is very early in the trading session as the volatility in many of the commodity sectors is starting to increase due to the fact that the U.S stock market has fallen out of bed over the last several days sending shock waves through many different sectors.
