Corn Prices Higher 2nd Day In A Row

Corn Futures--- There must be a God in my opinion as corn has traded higher for the 2nd consecutive session for the 1st time in about a month as I've talked about this market on multiple occasions I do think the downside is limited, but I also think the upside is limited for the rest of 2018.

Cotton Prices Higher 4th Day In A Row

Cotton Futures--- Cotton futures in the March contract is trading higher for the 4th consecutive session up 116 points currently trading at 70.50 as I will be recommending a bullish position if prices close above 69.67 while then placing the stop loss under the 2 week low standing at 68.34 as the risk right now is around $1,100 per contract plus slippage and commission.

Are Moving Averages Important ?

How Can You Use Moving Averages To Your Advantage? A simple moving average is calculated by adding the closing price of a commodity such as crude oil for a number of time periods and then dividing this total by the number of time periods.

Short-term averages respond quickly to changes in the price of the underlying commodity, while long-term averages are slower to react.

Natural Gas Close To Filling Price Gap

Natural Gas Futures--- Natural gas futures in the January contract are currently down 4 points at 3.15 continuing its short-term bearish trend & if you have been reading my previous blogs you understand that I think the price gap which was created over 2 weeks ago will be filled around the 3.05/3.10 level as then I will be interested in a possible bullish position once that situation occurs.

Silver Prices Sharply Lower

Silver Futures--- Silver futures in the December contract are currently trading lower by $0.36 at 17.01 an ounce as I have been recommending a bullish position from last Friday from around the 17.30 level and if you took that trade continue to place the stop loss at the 10 day low standing at 16.78 as the chart structure is outstanding due to the fact of low volatility.

Gold Prices Lower By $10

Gold Futures--- Gold futures in the December contract are currently trading lower by $8 an ounce at 1,288 as I have been recommending a bullish position from last Friday around the 1,292 level and if you took that trade continue to place the stop loss under the 10 day low standing at 1,269 as the chart structure is outstanding at the present time due to the fact that we have experienced low volatility over the last 4 weeks.

Will Tax Cuts Push Stocks Even Higher ?

S&P 500 Futures---- The S&P 500 futures in the December contract settled last Friday in Chicago at 2579 while currently trading at 2580 as volatility has finally entered this market due to the fact of the possibility that the tax cuts may have been delayed, but the House of Representatives passed that yesterday as we will have to see what the Senate will do in the coming weeks ahead.

I Am Still Bullish The Crude Oil Market

Crude Oil Futures--- Crude oil futures in the December contract settled last Friday in New York at 56.74 a barrel while currently trading at 56.50 down slightly for the trading week, but dropped nearly $3 from the contract high that was hit in last weeks trade as the volatility certainly has come to life.
